The Warriors have seven players between 6-foot-6 and 6-foot-8 and between 185 to 230 pounds — all of whom could be tasked with defending LeBron James during the NBA Finals and five of whom will definitely get a turn against Cleveland’s 6-8, 240-pound locomotive.
But James doesn’t seem all that impressed with the Warriors’ defensive versatility.
“They’ve still got the same uniform on. My approach doesn’t change, no matter who’s guarding me,” James told Cleveland reporters days before Thursday’s Game 1. “They have multiple bodies that they will put on me, but it doesn’t affect what I need to do.
