Draymond Green reportedly flew to New York this past weekend to visit teammate Kevin Durant, who is recovering from a torn Achilles tendon last week in the NBA Finals.
However, unlike the last time the Warriors’ season ended without a title, Green reportedly wasn’t on a recruiting mission following Golden State’s disappointing NBA Finals loss to Toronto. According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, Green’s main reason for dropping in on his teammate is to simply check on his well-being in person and he “was not in recruiting mode.”
“It’s his friend,” a source told the Post about Green’s visit .
