It’s been a long time coming, but Boogie Night finally arrived for the Warriors on Friday.
Months after shocking the NBA by signing a modest one-year contract with the Warriors, DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins was cleared to play at Staples Center when Golden State took on the Clippers.
If he can shake off enough rust after his Achilles injury? Look out, NBA.
Title aspirations aside, the excitement and drama leading up to Cousins’ first game in blue and gold isn’t unlike what we’ve seen around these parts before. Cousins’ debut is just the latest, but not necessarily the greatest in Golden State Warriors history.
