SAN DIEGO -– The preseason game between the Warriors and the Lakers at Valley View Casino Center was halted with 2:16 remaining in the third quarter Saturday night because of hazardous floor conditions.
“It was the right move,” Warriors interim coach Luke Walton said.
With the Warriors trailing 85-70, guard Leandro Barbosa slipped and it was evident the floor was the culprit. After he informed officials, they consulted with Lakers coach Byron Scott and Walton before all agreed it was best not to continue.
“I just slipped,” said Barbosa, who came up limping but said he was OK.
