After falling behind by 15 points in the second quarter, the Warriors closed the half with a rush Friday night and rolled to a 128-120 win over the Pelicans.

Five Warriors scored in double figures, led by 33 points from Klay Thompson. Stephen Curry put in 28, Kevin Durant 22 and Draymond Green. David West added 11 off the bench.

Durant also blocked a career-high seven shots as the Warriors (1-1) recovered from their season-opening loss to Houston.

All five starters made significant contributions, but Thompson’s shooting down the stretch was crucial to holding off a late Pelicans rally.
