I’ve probably used the title “Indomitable” before in one of my posts. Indomitability, after all, was one of the calling cards of that once-in-a-lifetime 2015-2016 Golden State Warriors squad, which won more regular season games than any other team, ever. But this year’s Warriors are also indomitable, in their own unique way. They lack the transcendent talent and cohesion and skill and shooting prowess that characterized the 73 win Dubs. But they make up for it by matching the energy, the grit, and the unwillingness to roll over. After losing two games in a row, both against weaker Eastern Conference opponents, both featuring monumental collapses down the stretch by the Warriors, no one (myself included) gave the Dubs much of a chance heading into another back-to-back against the Knicks and Pacers, both of whom have already beaten the Warriors this season.
