The case of whether Los Angeles Clippers All-Star Paul George will actually be a Golden State Warrior next season is just a “day or two” away from being decided.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said Tuesday that George’s free agency saga could be resolved over the next couple of days.
Unlike other impending free agents, George, as others have previously reported, could pick up the player option for the final year of his contract so that he can be traded to another team and get the lucrative extension he’s after.
“He could opt into his contract, and get traded by this weekend,” Windhorst said.
