Taking Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson off the floor left space Sunday for Ian Clark to put his offensive weapons on display.
The third-year guard scored a career-high 36 points in 34 minutes off the bench, the biggest bright spot in an otherwise desultory defeat to the Spurs.
Clark not only one-upped his previous career best by 13 points — he had 23 in a December win over the Blazers — he also became the first Warrior reserve to tally 30-plus since Jordan Crawford did so in April 2014.
Clark shot 15 for 21 from the floor and nailed all three of his 3-point tries.
