SAN FRANCISCO — Seeking to cash in a training camp invite last September, Kendrick Nunn strut into the Warriors’ practice facility in Oakland to find Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant painstakingly going through their respective shooting drills.
Nunn watched as the two former MVPs went through their monotonous but important routines. It left an impression. Now, the lessons he learned from watching them and playing in the Warriors’ G League system for a year are helping Nunn thrive during his breakout rookie season with the Miami Heat.
