PHILADELPHIA – The nostalgia swept Damion Lee as he revisited alma mater.
He watched part of Drexel’s game against Northeastern. He walked around campus with his wife, Sydel. He stopped by where he ate his first chicken cheesesteak. Hours later, Lee produced more memories that might leave him equally reflective years from now.
In the Warriors’ 120-117 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, Lee had 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting on a career-high 4-of-5 mark from 3. He helped the Warriors absorb an absence to Klay Thompson (sore right knee) and limitations to Alfonzo McKinnie (left hip contusion).
