DENVER – Opponents try to intimidate Warriors center Damian Jones. Officials often blow the whistle on him. Both his coaches and teammates provide him endless feedback.
Rarely does it ever bother Jones, though. Instead, he said he relishes it.
“We’re just playing basketball and having a good time,” Jones said.
That mindset partly explains why Jones has assumed the Warriors’ starting center position from the beginning of training camp through when the Warriors (2-0) visit the Denver Nuggets (1-0) on Sunday.
