Warriors head coach Steve Kerr chose not to entertain a question about embattled forward Jonathan Kuminga heading into Tuesday’s play-in tournament game against the Grizzlies.
Kerr gave his standard pregame press conference ahead of the Memphis matchup at home, but when a reporter asked the coach whether he’s spoken to the 22-year-old player about his decrease in minutes, Kerr did not answer — at least, not verbally. While 95.7 The Game’s Marc Grandi posted on X that Kerr “declined to answer the question,” San Francisco Standard columnist Tim Kawakami posted that the head coach “basically just shook his head” in response.
