CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Stephen Curry was the first Warrior out of the halftime locker room Wednesday night.
He wasn’t going to miss this.
The Warriors’ point guard sat on the team’s bench for a while, but that wasn’t close enough. He slowly walked to midcourt and put his arms around his sister and mother as they watched the family’s patriarch, Dell Curry, get honored by the Charlotte Hornets.
“He means a lot to the city,” Curry said of his father. “He played here as one of the original Hornets, and he was the last original Hornet to leave.
