Draymond Green is suspended for Game 3 of Warriors-Kings on Thursday, the NBA announced on Tuesday evening.
The decision is mildly surprising in light of reporting earlier Tuesday that Green was "unlikely" to be suspended. But the NBA said in a statement that the suspension was a lifetime achievement award. The announcement was largely boilerplate, referring to Green "stepping on the chest" of Domantas Sabonis after the Kings center grabbed his ankle. There was one part that stood out, though:
"The suspension was based in part on Green's history of unsportsmanlike acts."
That history is extensive and outlandish.
