In a desperate attempt to get something out of superstar Kevin Durant’s departure, the Golden State Warriors allowed 2015 Finals MVP Andre Iguodala to get caught in the crossfire, trading him to the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies have no real intent on using Iguodala to help advance their team yet don’t want to put a high-quality forward on the buyout market. That being said, the Rockets and Mavericks are reportedly interested in trading for Iguodala.
While the Rockets will be a solid, championship-contending team, there is hope that if he’s traded to Dallas he could eventually get bought out.
