Heat’s Whiteside to test Warriors’ small lineup

Draymond Green played 9½ minutes at center during the Warriors’ victory over Sacramento on Saturday, and the Warriors outscored the Kings by 12 points during the span.

The most impressive stretch was the game’s final 2:46, during which Green, who’s 6-foot-7, shut out 6-11 DeMarcus Cousins as the Warriors turned a five-point lead into a 128-116 blowout.

“He’s a guy I wouldn’t want guarding me,” Warriors 7-foot center Andrew Bogut said of Green. “He’s long, athletic, smart and knows how to play the game, and he’s stronger than he looks. He’s very, very strong down there.
