The Warriors and Nuggets series offered up plenty of intel for future Warriors’ opponents. But none of those offerings were of interest to the Memphis Grizzlies. They prefer to beat the Warriors playing an up tempo style that suits them, and they have the personnel to justify the strategy. In the closing minutes of Game 1 of this series, the Warriors and Grizzlies took turns seizing momentum. In the closing minutes of the game, Mike Breen described the action as two teams throwing haymakers at each other, and that was perfectly apt.
