When you ring up Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo and ask for a couple of minutes to talk about Draymond Green, you’d best settle in because you’re more than likely going to get at least 20.
Izzo adores Green as both a player and person, and he loves talking about him. As remarkable as Green may be on the court, the coach is just as proud of his former star as an individual. From Green’s side, his love and admiration for Izzo is mutual, so much so that he made a special point to attend the coach’s induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame only a few days after returning from the Rio Olympics this past summer.
