Draymond Green has his ever-present high motor running in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
At halftime, he only has 6 points, but he also has 6 assists and 7 rebounds, putting him ahead of triple-double pace.
Green’s been pushing the ball up the court, getting the Warriors into their offense early and in rhythm. Late in the first quarter, he showed his quick-twitch defensive prowess by forcing Toronto’s Kawhi Leonard to pass, then spinning around and blocking Marc Gasol’s shot.
He missed a couple shots badly toward the end of the second quarter, but Green is having a net positive impact on Game 4 simply by bringing his trademark intensity and smarts on both ends of the floor.
