Having completed their meeting with top offseason priority Draymond Green late Tuesday, the Warriors turned their attention to courting top-notch shooters Wednesday.
The Warriors’ meeting in Los Angeles with Green and his agent, B.J. Armstrong, didn’t yield a deal in principle, but the team is still committed to re-signing the restricted free agent or matching any offer sheet he signs with another team.
Green could get a five-year deal worth more than $93 million with the Warriors, but only a four-year deal worth more than $69 million from another team. There was a slight chance Green would come out of the Warriors’ meeting with a deal, but most in his camp have believed he would explore offers from at least Atlanta, Detroit, Houston and New York.
