Good Enough (Warriors 103, Kings 94)

The story of how the Warriors won Saturday’s match-up with the Kings — Draymond Green’s unrelenting will, primarily — is less interesting than the story of how the Warriors almost lost it. The Warriors’ poor shooting — 41.3% from the field, 20.5% from three — is the obvious culprit, but when you break down those numbers, an even more detailed image of the Warriors’ problems emerges. The Warriors actually had their best shooting night of the season (56.6%) from inside the arc. Their season low in field goals (38) is attributable to the facts that they shot a full 10% worse from three-point territory than in any other game, and had a season high in three-point attempts (39).
