The best team in California will be taking on the Los Angeles Lakers in a preseason matchup. The Warriors are looking to improve to 4-1 and, more importantly, build on some of the good things they did against the Denver Nuggets. But they’ll be facing a hungry Lakers team looking to snap a two game losing streak.
It’s a matchup of the Apprentice challenging the Master. Warriors’ Head Coach Steve Kerr and Lakers’ Head Coach Luke Walton exchanged playful jabs prior to the game. Kerr told reporters that Andre Iguodala and David West will be resting because “I want to give Luke every opportunity to prepare for tomorrow’s clash.
