If the Golden State Warriors give both Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant long-term max contracts, they’ll be doing their best to then fill out their championship-caliber roster with veterans and rookies.
That being said, there’s no better veteran to target than Jonas Jerebko. For starters, they know what he’s capable of. In his first season in Golden State, he made both huge plays in the postseason and had a game-winning tip-in during the regular season.
Jerebko is not a star. He never will be.
You’re not going to give the ball to Jerebko with the game on the line and seconds remaining.
