Golden State Warriors: Superstar dependency shouldn’t be cause for concern

After a league-best start to the season, the Golden State Warriors have raised little cause for concern, scoring over 123 points per game, the only team to hit the mark. They’ve been so dynamic behind their superstar duo of Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.

Curry and Durant have both been early-season MVP candidates and have been equally impactful on the Dubs hot start.

For Curry, his season has been highlighted by one 51-point performance and then a myriad of other out-of-this-world performances. He’s averaging a league-high 31.3 points per game which includes 5.6 threes per game.

His numbers are on pace to surpass those from his unanimous-MVP campaign from the 2015-2016 season.
