It’s hard to pin the blame on any single person for the Golden State Warriors horrid 2019-20 NBA season.
Things were doomed from the start. The Dubs knew this season would be difficult when Kevin Durant announced his decision to leave the franchise. Injuries to Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry only sealed the Warriors’ fate.
Through 26 games, the Dubs hold a 5-21 record. This is the worst start of the decade for Golden State and one of their worst overall. It’s hard to remember that just a few months ago the Warriors were competing in the NBA Finals for their fifth consecutive season.
