The last calendar year has been a roller coaster for the Golden State Warriors.
They watched Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant go down with season-ending injuries in their 2019 NBA Finals. On top of that, Durant opted to leave after the team’s failed three-peat, heading to Brooklyn to team up with Kyrie Irving.
While Thompson did re-sign and Draymond Green was extended, Durant’s exit left a notable hole on both sides of the court.
After a long offseason and the addition of D’Angelo Russell, the Warriors fanbase was thrilled to finally be in the Chase Center.
