There’s no denying this season has been tough for the Golden State Warriors. Their fans, their players, their executives — they’ve all had to watch as the team went from five straight Finals to the worst in the Western Conference due to two team-altering injuries.
But, there are silver linings, and there’s are brighter times still on the horizon. Those bright times will only be made possible by the return of the Warriors’ two superstar players, one of which missed the entire 2019-2020 season.
While Stephen Curry played in just five of the 65 games due to a broken left hand, Klay Thompson, who tore his ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals after dropping 30 points in just over two and a half quarters, will also be “ready to go” for next season.
