Klay Thompson was visibly frustrated with their his performance, the Golden State Warriors’ performance as a whole, or some type of combination of the two. The five-time All-Star went 5-for-18 from the field and just 1-for-9 from two-point range.
Thomspon did tally five rebounds and five assists as well, both average his corresponding season average. He was a -10 for the game which was the second-worst among the Warrior starters, only better than Durant who tallied a -11 for the six-point loss to San Antonio.
Against the Spurs, Thomspon seemed rattled.
He wasn’t his typical self, and while that might’ve been due to a red-hot Spurs team applying pressure on the Warriors’ shooter or other issues within the flow of the game, Thompson ended the game with one of his worst outings of the season.
