It’s trade season for the Golden State Warriors, and Omari Spellman may be the main beneficiary. He’ll step into the spotlight with Cauley-Stein, who was averaging 22.9 minutes per game, now in Dallas.
Spellman is having a terrific sophomore season.
He’s averaging 7.8 points per game, and what’s even more impressive is that he’s shooting 4% better than he did as a rookie. Now at 44%, Spellman has consistently improved his play, something necessary for young players looking to make a name for themselves.
Another huge plus is his three-point shooting.
Spellman has taken the next step there as well.
