The Golden State Warriors get their first road test of the 2022 playoffs Thursday night when the Denver Nuggets — down a worse-than-it-looks 2-0 — host Game 3 at Ball Arena.
Nuggets coach Michael Malone set the stage on Wednesday by ... roasting his own fans.
“I imagine this place is going to be half full of Warriors fans,” he said during his Wednesday media availability. “Every time we play them that seems to be the case.”
Malone, to his credit, apparently knows his fan base pretty well. According to data provided to SFGATE by StubHub, just 52% of buyers for Game 3 on the secondary market ticketing platform are coming from Colorado, and there are still almost 1,000 tickets available (starting as low as $65).
