It’s hard to draw much from a preseason game where most of the roster is new compared to last year, and it becomes even more difficult when three of the four Golden State Warriors centers are out due to injury.
To begin with, it’s clear this Warriors team is going to be much thinner than the previous five years.
With no more Kevin Durant or Andre Iguodala, the small forward spot is where the issue is the most prominent. Alfonso McKinnie drew the start and is likely to have that role during the regular season as well when last year he was only providing spot minutes as the 3rd-string small forward.
