After what felt like a two-year slump from Draymond Green, he finally showed shines of his former self. The Golden State Warriors bested the New Orleans Pelicans 147-140 on Wednesday night and Green was one of the main reasons behind the victory.
In Wednesday’s game, Green put up 17 points, 14 assists and 6 rebounds. He shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and was 66.7 percent from the field overall. Green became only the 18th player in NBA history to finish a game with a box score such as this.
This performance was the embodiment of what Draymond had become known for.
