The Golden State Warriors pulled a cruel, cruel April Fool’s Joke on Easter Sunday, defeating the Phoenix Suns 117-107 after allowing the Arizona team to establish a double-digit lead!
The Dubs got off to a relatively poor start to begin the night, going down 24-22 in the first quarter. The Suns continued to build on their lead to start the next quarter, going on a 14-4 run to start the second.
It was at the 5:34 mark in the second that the Suns established a 14-point lead, which was quickly answered by a 25-11 spurt from the Warriors to bring Golden State within one.
