Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, a longtime advocate of stronger gun control laws, renewed calls for legislative action after six people were killed in Sunday's mass shooting in Sacramento.
With the Warriors in Sacramento to play the Kings, Kerr spoke to reporters Sunday and said that while he supports the teams holding a moment of silence before game, he believes moments of silence generally are inadequate.
"I think it's the right thing to do to have a moment of silence but I'll be honest, it's probably the ninth or 10th moment of silence that I will have experienced as coach of the Warriors when we mourn losses of people who have died in mass shootings," he said.
