Warriors fans have watched Iman Shumpert play on the opposite side of three NBA Finals matchups with the Cavaliers. Cleveland has decided to ship Shumpert off to Sacramento in a three-team deal, where he is expected to become a free agent after the Kings buy out the rest of his contract.
The Warriors’ group of wings coming off of the bench has been a disappointment this year. Golden State could benefit from adding a wing to the current rotation of Patrick McCaw, Nick Young, Andre Iguodala, and Omri Casspi.
Shumpert has only played in 14 games this season as he’s battled a foot injury, and he still hasn’t returned to the lineup from that injury.
