The banged-up Golden State Warriors went on the road to play the Ja Morant-led Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies entered the game 5-8 while the Warriors ranked dead last in the league with just two victories.
The Warriors were playing just one of their four All-Star. D’Angelo Russell was out, although he is expected back soon. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will both be out for the distant future. Golden State is learning to adapt without them.
In that process, Alec Burks, who was once a consistent scorer for the Utah Jazz, may continue to breakout.
