The 2019 NBA draft has passed us by and the focus now turns to free agency. This proved to be a great opportunity for GM Bob Myers to add complimentary pieces to the Dubs roster. And he didn’t disappoint.
Joining the Dubs is Villanova power-forward Eric Paschall, Michigan State shooting guard Jordan Poole along with Alen Smailgacic. A player that emerged during a terrific spell for the Santa Cruz Warriors in 2018-19.
Prior to draft night, Golden State had seven players on the roster and with extensions for Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Kevon Looney looming, the need to find cheap depth was vital.
