The Golden State Warriors are the league’s best team. While their regular season hasn’t quite reflected that, their back-to-back championships do. That said, on a championship-level team like Golden State, players oftentimes go undervalued. Klay Thompson is one of them.
Thompson hasn’t received the national attention he deserves. That’s mainly because the Warriors roster is filled with two former MVPs still in their prime and several other star players that take away from the high impact of Thompson.
Arguably the league’s best two-way shooting guard, Klay hasn’t made an All-NBA team in two years. Two years ago, DeMar DeRozan was the third team’s shooting guard, and last year, Victor Oladipo was the final candidate with DeRozan as an All-NBA second-team player.
