Reports have stated that the Golden State Warriors don’t plan to keep D’Angelo Russell for the long term. While the fit is likely the main concern, Golden State will likely have numerous teams calling for the 23-year-old guard.
Gauging Russell’s value is difficult, he is a ball-dominant guard. Although he did average 21.1 points per game, Russell didn’t do it efficiently, shooting just 43.4% from the field. Teams are a fan of the inefficient scorer.
That’s one reason why Russell Westbrook may never get the ring he craves unless he plays with a third superstar.
Teams think of Russell in that regard when considering a trade.
