The first No. 1 seed of the NCAA Tournament went down on Friday night. On top of North Carolina’s loss, we saw several thrilling games take place during the entire Sweet Sixteen. Some of these standout performances could help or hurt the Golden State Warriors come June.
The Warriors have their 2019 first-round pick. They’ll likely be selecting with the No. 28 overall pick, only in front of the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks. While they won’t get a known superstar with this pick, if they choose wisely, they could get a quality contributor.
Over the last few years, they’ve traditionally gone with big men in order to increase their frontcourt depth.
