With 14 contracted players and two two-way contracts, the Golden State Warriors have 16 contracted players, one short of the league-max 17. That said, the Dubs still have a roster spot vacant.
The buyout market, just a few weeks ago, saw numerous names added to the pool. Markieff Morris, Carmelo Anthony and many others headlined the most attractive former stars on the market.
The Warriors could use one of those stars. While many have already signed elsewhere, there is still a handful of talent remaining.
Prior to the trade deadline, the Dubs were reportedly interested in Rodney Hood and Wesley Matthews.
