While the Golden State Warriors may not be playing basketball for a few months, free agency will likely still take place sometime in the summer, albeit potentially later in the summer than usual.
That said, Golden State will have a bit more time to organize their plans with the limited cap they’ll enter the period with. At the moment, due to COVID-19, better known as the coronavirus, we have no timetable for when the league’s return will take place.
But, four max-level players and a top first-round pick will really limit their spending, meaning they’ll have to find an array of low-cost, high-value players to add to their roster.
