This season has been tough for the Golden State Warriors. After five straight Finals appearance, they’ll end the 2019-2020 season as one of the league’s worst team.
With the league currently suspended, the Warriors are the only team already eliminated from playoff contention. While much of their lack of success can be due to injuries, there will be silver linings that come from this season.
One of those is that they’ll retain their 2020 first-round pick, one that’s projected to be in the top-five. In an attempt to rebuild their roster, the team will also have a hefty trade exception to use, one just a few million shy of $20 million.
