A large number of NBA fans were ready to toss the Golden State Warriors in the trash after a blowout loss to the Thunder. However, they bounced back the next game without a blowout win over the Pelicans, earning back some trust.
For Golden State, the opinion of fans means very little. They’re going to keep competing on a night in and night out basis, and for now, they’re going to keep doing so with the roster they constructed this offseason.
That roster, which has been banged up primarily in the frontcourt, has had defensive issues. They’ve given up 120 or more points in each of the team’s first three games.
