Former Warriors draft pick Gilbert Arenas believes that he was better than Steph Curry, within a certain set of criteria.
Speaking on the “I Am Athlete” podcast, Arenas laid out his bold take that he’s better than the Warriors star, provided you stop the comparison at age 25.
“If you stop me at 25,” Arenas said in the episode released Monday, “Steph ain’t f—king with me.”
It’s worth noting that Arenas was clearly goaded into this very conceited answer. Host Brandon Marshall was insisting that the former Wizards star focus on the peak of his talents, rather than the entirety of his career, while DeSean Jackson celebrated what Arenas just said.
