SALT LAKE CITY — The Warriors want to find a way to convert Ky Bowman’s two-way contract to a 15-man roster spot but, until then, they’ll have to manage his availability carefully.
Bowman, 22, only has 13 days remaining of his 45 day allotment with the NBA team provided under his deal. As the Warriors explore ways to clear a roster spot for him, he could spend more time in the G League, where the Warriors will try to develop his point guard skills.
While Golden State plays the Jazz in Utah Friday, Bowman will make his G League debut when the Warriors play the Agua Caliente Clippers at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz.
