Just about everything Stephen Curry touches turns to gold, figuratively speaking.
Even one of his infamous mouthguards.
Curry, known for chewing on his personalized rubber mouthpiece, apparently left one behind during an unspecified road game in December, according to SCP Auctions. A fan, who was sitting close to the Warriors bench, picked it up and took it home.
On Sunday morning, that game-chewed mouthguard was sold in an online auction by SCP. The winning big was $2,658. With the 20 percent "Buyer's Premium" the auction house applies, the winning bidder forked over $3,190 for the (mouth)piece of memorabilia.
