Fox Sports pundit Nick Wright took his confrontations with Warriors fans to never-before-seen levels Tuesday, joining an X Spaces (formerly Twitter Spaces) conversation to argue about Golden State’s play-in tournament loss to the Sacramento Kings.
In the media personality equivalent of a professional basketball player joining a neighborhood pickup game, Wright entered the online live audio conversation in part to mount a defense of head coach Steve Kerr. The call mostly featured verified Warriors fans on social media lamenting the end of the Dubs’ postseason journey.
Wright said he joined the call, and subsequently requested to speak, because of the posts of one fan who blamed Tuesday’s loss, and a lot of the season’s failures, on Kerr’s not using rookie big man Trayce Jackson-Davis enough in the game.
