Former Warriors coach and player Alvin Attles missed Golden State’s 120-117 over the Wizards Friday night on an evening when the team honored his legacy after being hospitalized for an undisclosed condition.
On Monday, the Hall of Famer was released from the hospital.
Some good news: Warriors say Al Attles was released from the hospital late yesterday. Team says he’s back home and resting comfortably.
In addition to his 11-year playing career, Attles is recognized as one of the best coaches in the history of the franchise, leading the Warriors to a title in 1975, becoming just the second black coach to do so after Bill Russell.
