Former Golden State Warriors shooting guard Monta Ellis hasn't played in the NBA since 2017, but is reportedly trying to return to the league this upcoming season.
ESPN's Jordan Schultz reported that Ellis — along with former NBA big man Amar'e Stoudemire — will work out privately for at least five teams in Las Vegas on Monday.
"Both players are healthy and hoping to sign with a contending team, such as the Lakers," Schultz wrote on Twitter.
Amar’e Stoudemire and Monta Ellis will workout privately for at least five NBA teams from 6-7pm — in Las Vegas — on July 8, a source tells ESPN.
